If you’re not familiar with Dominic DeAngelis he does a lot of pranks on Chatroulette, many times as different characters. In this video he’s basically himself but he comes up with a lot of entertaining funny lines throughout the clip, some of which are related to his fake skeleton friend prop. Also, he comes across a lot of really weird or spooky characters, which I suppose should be expected because it is Chatroulette after all, and you never know what you’re going to see next. One thing that’s interesting about this video in particular is he comes across some pretty good looking girls also acting rather odd, so it’s not just a bunch of male perverts like you might be expecting. So, I wanted to give you guys something different this time, so I’m going to focus on giving you an in depth article about one particular Omegle alternative random chat site called RandomSkip. This, of course, isn’t the only reason we love them, we love them because they provide a fast and unique chat experience in comparison to other roulette chat sites. However, despite their undeniable awesomeness, we still have found ourselves wondering whether or not there are other sites like Omegle out in the vast expanse of the internet. And, the answer, of course, is that there are. And, there aren’t just a few, there are a lot. However, there are a very small number, or should I say, there may only literally be one that is truly similar in terms of offerings, the rest tend to be more different. At any rate, we’ll let you draw your own conclusions, here’s the list:

So, we happen to be pretty big fans of ChatRandom, because well, frankly, it’s an awesome random video chat site. It’s popular, has lots of great features, loads fast, etc. However, that doesn’t change the fact that after using it for a while, we still begin to wonder what else is out there – I think it’s human nature to always want to sort of move on to something new every so often. Anyway, this being the case, we decided to scour the internet in search of all the best sites like ChatRandom, and low and behold, we found a whole lot of them! This isn’t to say they’re all as good, because the truth of the matter is only a small number are of comparable awesomeness, but nonetheless we were still able to come up with a pretty sweet list, and here it is:

Chatpig is a site very similar to Chatroulette. It has the same basic features as any random roulette live video chat site nowadays, but it does look like it used to have it’s own unique “snaps” function that allowed users to take snapshots in the middle of a chat session. However, this feature is no longer available. At any rate, I’m supposed the next thing you would likely be curious about is what kind of user base it has / how popular it is. First, I will note that based on it’s Alexa ranking and it’s users online tracker, it looks like it tends to have enough people available to ensure a good chatting experience most of the day. Second, I must bring up a major point about the location of the typical user – it’s Germany.

Yep, this particular random cam chat site is German-focused, and they succeeded with this focus. So, if you’re looking to find out more on sauerkraut recipes, this could be the place for you! Personally, I love sauerkraut, so I think this site is da bomb yo. Yes, I’m totally gangsta. In any case, we can’t forget to mention the pig logo and the site style laced with pink. Obviously when you throw those two aspects into the mix you just have to check this website out. Oh, almost forgot, the software itself works well and fast, so you don’t have to worry about some old clunker of a server and app taking ages to load etc. You can visit this site at www.chatpig.com. Funyo

 Funyo began as a simple video roulette chat site, and then added a variety of extra features as time went on. One feature that sets it apart from most random chat sites is that is has a social network attached to it. I would say it is not on the level of the social network run by iMeetzu, but it is still up and coming and I’m sure they have a lot of kinks to work out such as spam control etc, which is normal with any newer user-based system like that. Anyway, besides that, they also have the Chatroulette-style webcam chatting option, as previously noted. This option runs smoothly in my experience, and has a pretty good number of users available most of the time. The Alexa rank of the website is around 50,000, so that’s usually good enough to ensure their are always enough people around to make a site interesting.

Anyway, the site has other extra features as well. First, it has a group chat room setup where you can actually pick your local location and enter a room. This part in particular does not seem to have caught on yet, but it looks like they are also using the same software system to support a more general chat room which does seem to be pretty well populated with users most of the time, and it allows you to do both video and text chatting, along with private messaging / video calling as you desire. Finally, they have another live cam chat option that seems to concentrate on building up viewers / performing, so if you’re into that be sure to check it out. Their site is located at www.funyo.com.
